PGA OF NORTHERN ONTARIO UNVEILS 2026 TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
Northern Ontario’s PGA Professionals Set for Another Exciting Season of Competition Across the Region
Sudbury, ON – The PGA of Northern Ontario is pleased to announce its 2026 Tournament Schedule, featuring four premier events that will bring PGA Professionals together at some of Northern Ontario’s outstanding golf facilities throughout the season. The schedule highlights opportunities for competition, professional development, and camaraderie while showcasing the strength of golf across the region.
The 2026 season begins on June 7 with the Pro/Junior Championship sponsored by PING Canada at Idylwylde Golf & Country Club in Sudbury. The event provides a unique opportunity for PGA Professionals to team up with junior golfers, helping to foster the next generation of players while celebrating mentorship and player development. The PGA of Northern Ontario sincerely thanks PING Canada for its support of junior golf and its continued commitment to the growth of the game across the country.
On June 22, professionals will travel to Manitou Ridge Golf Club in McKellar for the Pro/Pro Championship sponsored by Levelwear. The PGA of Northern Ontario extends its sincere appreciation to Levelwear for its continued support of professional golf and PGA Professionals throughout the region.
The season’s marquee event, the PGA of Northern Ontario Championship sponsored by Callaway Golf Canada, will take place August 2-3 at Stone Ridge at Elliott Lake. As the Zone’s premier championship, the tournament will once again showcase the exceptional talent of Northern Ontario’s PGA Professionals. The PGA of Northern Ontario gratefully acknowledges Callaway Golf Canada for its longstanding commitment to growing the game and supporting professional competition.
The schedule concludes on September 21 with the Fall Pro/Am sponsored by Cobra Puma Golf at North Bay Golf & Country Club. This popular event brings together professionals and amateurs in a competitive yet enjoyable atmosphere, and the PGA of Northern Ontario is proud to recognize Cobra Puma Golf for its valued partnership and support of the event.
The PGA of Northern Ontario would also like to proudly recognize Northern Superior Brewing Co. as the Official Beer Sponsor of the 2026 Tournament Season. As one of Northern Ontario’s most recognizable craft breweries, Northern Superior Brewing Co. will help enhance the tournament experience for competitors and guests throughout the season.
